OPERATIONAL UPDATE ISSUED 02/11/2020 (last updated 14:40)

In view of the recent government announcement that some non-essential businesses will need to close from Thursday 5th November, we would like to confirm we are able to remain open, and at present we plan to keep our operations full time. To clarify:

Our Warehouses are open weekdays at 8am and close at 4.30pm

Our Offices & Trade Counter are open weekdays 7am to 5pm

We have been advised by the Timber Trade Federation that the Construction Leadership Council have published an open letter in response to the latest lockdown in England. The government has recognised the need for all of the construction industry, including manufacturers and suppliers of products, to remain open for business and continue supporting projects up and down the country. These projects could range from critical infrastructure to home repairs, and will enable the wider economy and individual livelihoods through this difficult period.

DELIVERIES

We are offering our Delivery Service every weekday.

Deliveries are not made at specified times and will be made any time between 8am and 5pm. Deliveries may be subject to an internal risk assessment of the nature of the delivery and/or site if applicable. There is no requirement for a signature on delivery however someone will need to be there to take receipt of any goods and we will need to take the name of the recipient – we are unable to provide signed “Proof of Delivery” notes anymore

COLLECTIONS

During the lockdown period we request:

• That any orders are pre-ordered (on account or cash sale) as we aim to minimise your time on site
• We request that only our customers, alone, attend site to collect the goods they have ordered. Please do not bring clients or any guests with you; only customers collecting goods may visit our premises
• Finally, anyone visiting us must wear a face covering when inside our premises. We have a restriction of just TWO customers at any one time inside our Trade Counter. We do not encourage any visitors to use the washrooms, unless absolutely essential.
