We are rather busy and we need an extra pair of full time hands to help in our Sales Office!
We are seeking a person with outstanding experience of the Plywood and Sheet Materials Trade.
As a Sales Consultant for us, you will join a team in our busy Sales Department & Trade Counter. Working in this family business, now in its third generation and established since 1938. You are working for a company that utilises all its experience and knowledge to give us the edge over all our competitors in this specialist part of the building materials supply sector. Selling our Products to a variety of customers from Joiners to end user specifiers you must have the knowledge of our trade and products, whether that comes from a Timber Merchant background or being directly involved with Plywood and Sheet Materials.
We are currently operating in a changing, growing market place, and one that fulfills simple supply and demand, essentially driven by growth in the Building Sector; particularly in the London Area as our key focus to supply.
As for training, we can help, however it’s your experience, expertise and enthusiasm that needs to be there to succeed in this role. Only positive and inspiring people need apply. With a like-minded team behind you, you’ll have all the support you need – plus a lively workplace where you’ll be free to excel. As a company we have a very low staff turnover, and so let it be stressed this is not just a job, it is a career. Naturally, you will need experience working with customers both in person, over the telephone and at our Trade Counter. As well as being friendly, keen and helpful, we are not a large business and need someone ready to chip in where needed and to go the extra mile to make customers happy; we are known for our efficiency & customer service. CRM is a large part of the role, essentially to be organised and manage your work time to suit customers’ needs. Excellent Computer literacy is a must and you must be well versed in all the main Microsoft Programs, and are expected to learn in house Sales & Stock Software as well as being able to grasp all our internal processes and procedures quickly.
